Straight talk approach for a stronger Israel

From Our Founder

Paul Emeka

We are on a Mission

My name is Emeka Paul, a Nigerian and a Zionist. Now, why should a Nigerian be a Zionist and not face the numerous issues of life bedeviling that country but become a pro-Israel Zionist? Well, I don't know except that I got fed up with the lies and felt that something ought to be done about it.

My Story

The first time I read about Israel in modern times was in 1992. I read a newspaper article when Saddam Hussein was raining Scud missiles at Israel and Yitzhak Shamir held himself. The issues of Israel and the Jews did not register much. In 1996, I read “The Scourge of the Swastika” by Lord Russell of Liverpool, which included a chapter that dealt with the Jewish Question. Jewish people’s issues registered little, and I was more angry with the Nazis for their general atrocities. Leon Uris’ “Exodus” came to me in 2003, and I got hooked on the Jewish people’s issues. I started reading up on everything I could lay my hands on regarding their case and the land of Eretz Israel. I told myself that they have finally gotten back home and should be facing normal everyday problems like other nations, but I was wrong.

From 2008 to 2011, I endured Al Jazeera and all the other media houses’ claims and vilification of Israel every time I turned on the TV. I was looking for an avenue to tell them to stop their lies and correct them. In 2011, I was introduced to Facebook, and I thought I should go there and write to Al Jazeera and other media houses to stop their lies and fixation against Israel. I met a whole lot of surprises as the accusations, hatred, and lies seemed to have permeated the senses of the entire world, so I went on a mission of Israel defense since then. To my utter dismay and consternation, most of the supposed Israel defenders make cases that sound so silly, pathetic, “off-the-grid,” and ineffective in addressing the accusations against Israel that they do more harm than good.

My vision is to ultimately make the truth of Israel stand and be accepted as the party with truth, justice, fairness, morality, and righteousness in this conflict with the Arabs now termed the “Israel-Palestinians conflict,” or as more recently the”Israel-Hamas conflict’’. Israel Fact Check HQ is dedicated to showing the mistakes of Hasbara and how most of the cases they make are basically wrong and do more harm to Israel in trying to present its case to an honest arbiter and neutral person. It will involve taking a look at and analyzing the cases made on behalf of Israel by many Hasbara and Israel public relations representatives, showing how they can appear to the honest arbiter, the student demonstrating against Israel on the campuses, or that Jewish kid who is learning how to defend Israel and stand his ground. Yes, there is antisemitism, but we are going to eschew evoking it here and really look at the effectiveness of Hasbara in appealing to the senses and support of an open-minded person who is not antisemitic but has a sense of history, right and wrong, justice, and the normal everyday perception and behavior of humanity.

Who we are

Our Team

We began our journey as a group of individuals who connected online, brought together by like-minded individuals who crossed paths in the online realm, united by our deep care for Israel and a shared frustration at the constant negative unfair portrayal of Israel in the news. As we recognized each other’s commitment and drive, we began joining forces on collaborative projects. It dawned on us that there was a crucial element missing in the current Israeli Hasbara landscape. And so, under the leadership of Paul Emeka, we founded the concepts of Haara, reclaim Israel truth and change the way Israel’s narrative is communicated and perceived.
Recognizing the profound importance of sharing our insights and knowledge, we are determined to spread the wealth of what we have learned with passion and conviction.

Our Goal

Drop Hasbara, Embrace Ha'ara and Hatkafa

At IFCH, we’re on a mission to revolutionizing the way Israel’s truth is told. Say goodbye to Hasbara’s wishy-washy ways of explaining, pleading, and justifying without any real substance. We’re flipping the script to Ha’ara where we reclaim the narrative. Ha’ara is all about telling the compelling truth about Israel’s survival against Arab imperialism and Muslim colonization dreams, refusing to be the victims like the Yazidis, Berbers, Nubians, Coptic Christians, Assyrians, Armenians, and Kurds who suffered persecution, cultural suppression, and displacement under Arab colonialism. No bowing down to Europe or the world here; we’re standing tall for the oldest indigenous state in the Middle East. While proudly celebrating Zionism, the oldest and most successful anti-colonialism movement.

Key Terms

01

Hasbara

In Hebrew, "הסברה" (Hasbara) translates to "explanation" or "public diplomacy." It refers to the efforts made to explain and promote Israel's policies, actions, and positions to the international community.

02

Ha'ara

In Hebrew, "הארה" (Haara) means "illumination" or "enlightenment." It can also refer to clarification or shedding light on a subject or situation.

03

Hatkafa

In Hebrew, "התקפה" (Hatkafa) translates to "attack." Whether it's a physical punch, a verbal smackdown, or a full-on military operation, this word means business. In our corner, Hatkafa is taking the offense, owing the narrative and constantly putting the anti-Israel narrative on the defense. It's time to make them do some explaining!

The Jews rights to the land is based on the fact that they own the land historically as the only people still in existence to ever have formed an independent indigenous country before been occupied for a long time by one empire after the other just like as happened to the Greeks and Poles in their land. It is also based on international law as specified in the articles of the Mandate for Palestine document and other international legal document, agreements and binding legal rulings The "Palestinians" have no verifiable claim at all whether historical or legal to that land.

F.A.Q.

Find answers to commonly asked questions about the Israel Arab/Palestinians conflict.

Israel building Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria does NOT violate any international law be it the Fourth Geneva Convention or any other.  Article 49 of the Geneva Convention was created in order to prevent a repeat of what happened in Europe under the malaise aggression of Nazism. For this reason, Article 49 of the Geneva Convention states, “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.”  Article 2 of the Geneva Convention has made clear that the Fourth Geneva Convention only applies to two or more high contracting parties, which is not the case here.  It is Jordan’s annexation of Judea and Samaria  and Egypt’s occupation of Gaza which were violations of international law . According to article 95 of the treaty of Sevres when the Ottomans gave up the land, San Remo Resolution of April 25, 1920 and the Mandate for Palestine document of July 24, 1922, Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem,  Gaza and all the other territories of Israel were all part of the Jewish state which the British were supposed to help and tutor the Jews as they reconstitute it. These agreements are still relevant since Article 80 of the UN Charter states that all mandates of the League of Nations are still valid and should not be altered and that is what gave the Jews legal rights to the whole territory just as the same Mandate laws gave the Iraqis, Syrians, Lebanon and later Jordan legal right of ownership over their own.

First of all, Israel cannot be annexing Judea Samaria and Gaza. Nations annex territories they are occupying and not the ones they already have legal right of ownership over. Liberated territories are not annexed and Judea Samaria and Gaza are already the Jewish state of Israel’s legally owned and liberated territories which they are running under state of emergency regulations because of the peculiar situations obtained in those areas. What Israel can do is stop running those areas under state of emergency regulations and allow sovereign Israel law apply in those territories. It is like one saying that when military governments or civilian ones in many nations who hitherto ran a part or all of the territories of the nation under state of emergency regulation lift those rules and start application of their laws there, it then becomes an annexation.

Secondly, Israel’s refusal to give the Palestinians in Judea Samaria and Gaza citizenship rights after applying its laws in those places does not constitute apartheid. Apartheid as practiced in south Africa was a system where CITIZENS of a nation had separate laws made for them because of their race. In the case of Israel, denial of citizenship rights to the Palestinians has nothing to do with them as members of the semitic/MENA race or even the Arabic ethnic group which they belong to. There are many racial groups in Israel and Arabs who are citizens of the nation and they enjoy all its rights. The Palestinians are not citizens of Israel and thus will not be given citizenship rights and it has nothing to do with apartheid. The Arabic nations and UN created and maintained that anomaly called a Palestinians and should be the ones to solve it. If denying them citizenship rights in Eretz Israel is to be termed apartheid, then Syria, Lebanon and many other nations where these Palestinians reside without citizenship rights should also be termed apartheid. Also if denial of citizenship rights to a group of non citizens residing within one’s country should mean apartheid, then many European nations should be termed apartheid for denying the Gypsies and other groups of people residing within their nation citizenship rights.

Fact is that the Palestinians are not citizens of Israel and thus should have no citizenship rights. The UN and the Arabic nations should sit down and decide how to solve the Palestinian problem they created but its will not be foisted on Israel or to its detriment.

It’s quite unfortunate but the claim that Israel is in occupation of Palestinians or Palestine has been repeated so much that it appears to be an established truth but nothing is farther from the truth. It is a classical example of the Big Lie theory at work.

First of all, article 42 of the Hague Regulations of 1907 defined occupation as “Territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army”

The heading of the section III where this definition is gotten from explains what territory they were referring to. It was headed “Military Authority Over the Territory of the Hostile State”.

Based on the above definition, Palestinians and their Palestine cannot say that they are been occupied due to the following.

Occupation is done against the territories of an existing STATE. The entity called Palestine is not a state, Based on the provisions of international law as specified under article 38 of the Montevideo convention of 1933, an entity must have sovereign rights and ownership over the territories it is claiming to be termed a state. There is no territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea that the Palestinians exercise or had exercised sovereign rights over to claim that it has become their state. That many nations recognize them as a state is immaterial and illegal since their status as a state is not and has never been an established fact. Since they are not a state, they cannot claim to be occupied.

The territory that is said to be occupied must also be OWNED by the state which it was taken from and then had military authority exercised over it. All through history, the people now calling themselves Palestinians have never had any sovereign ownership of any territory in that place as their nation to have claimed that it has been taken from them and then occupied. Prior to the reconstitution of the Jewish nation there in 1922 as obtained in the Mandate for Palestine document, it was under the British occupation which started from 1918. Before then, the Ottomans had sovereign empire ownership over it, then the Mammelukes, down till Rome and then the Jewish nation of the Hasmoneans.

Thus, there is no basis for it to be said that the Palestinians or their Palestine is been occupied in any way.

The United Nations is composed of around 193 members. Among these states, 97, a simple majority, are required to pass UNGA resolutions. Within these states, there are 22 members who are entirely ethnic Arab states that fought against Israel and still bear the wounds of defeat and shame, vowing to eradicate Israel. In their Arab League, they have adamantly declared “NO PEACE” with Israel, with their primary UN agenda focused on the elimination of Israel to erase the stain of being conquered by this small nation.

Following closely behind are an additional 35 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, whose agenda naturally aligns with their Arab Muslim brethren as one Ummah. They are resentful that the Jews have seized control of Jerusalem, including its Temple Mount, known to them as the Dome of the Rock, a site they consider holy. Adding to this mix are the extra 68 UN member nations of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which constitutes the majority of its membershipFrom members of the above two organizations and third-world dictatorial countries eager for economic, political, and other gains from the petrodollars of Middle Eastern countries, you have an avalanche of countries eager to bury Israel in the UN.

If one adds China, and Russia (with its satellite countries of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine) who traditionally opposes anything that US or Israel supports and then Brazil of the BRICS block countries, then Israel has a total of about 131 countries already on stand-by to make it disappear. Talk even of Europe which is now gradually getting Islamized that some people now term it Eurabia and is so pandering to the wishes of its Muslim minority to appease would-be terrorists by voting against Israel or abstaining and one understands why the UN is solely fixated on destroying Israel. It’s in light of this large “army” of nations arrayed against Israel in UN that one can understand how and why those ridiculous resolutions against Israel gets to be proposed and passed.

Guardians of the Homeland: Committed to Defending Israel's Indigenous Roots.

With the fire of Islam and the sword, they emerged from the sands of the Arabian Peninsula and laid waste to the indigenous cultures of the Middle East and North Africa. The Assyrians, Yazidis, Berbers, and other indigenous nationalities of the Middle East were at their feet. The Arabs rampaged, colonized, subjugated, and conquered until virtually all other peoples of the Middle East were sent into extinction and their nations stolen. Only the Jews survived as a nation and refused to be defeated. Today, Israel stands as the only surviving indigenous culture and nation in the Middle East that was not wiped out by the Arabs. Today, the Arabs continue their imperialism, now using "Palestinianism" as their new tactical and political weapon in their quest for the total subjugation of the remaining indigenous cultures in the Middle East. Stand and join the fight to preserve and protect the only remaining Middle Eastern nation and culture that resists the Arab imperialism. Stand with Israel.
