Zionism is older than Islam

Zionism

Zionism, at its core, embodies the narrative of indigenous people steadfastly holding onto their ancestral land and overcoming adversities to achieve prosperity. The modern movement's essence lies in the deep-rooted connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel, their historical homeland, and their unwavering determination to re-establish their sovereign state despite formidable challenges.

Throughout history, the Jewish people have faced persecution, forced displacement exile, cultural suppression and discrimination, yet their yearning to return to Zion has remained unshakable. Zionism has always been a response to centuries of occupation and oppression and it is a movement to reclaim their rightful place in the land where their cultural and religious identity thrived. It is a testament to the resilience and perseverance of a people who refused to be extinguished, holding onto their dreams of self-determination and independence.

The rebirth of the Jewish State in 1922 and its independence as the State of Israel in 1948 marked a historic milestone in the Zionist journey amongst the earlier ones achieved till Bar Kochba. It was a triumph of the indomitable spirit of a people who had endured centuries of displacement and persecution. Against all odds, Israel emerged as a vibrant democracy, a beacon of innovation, and a thriving society that has made significant contributions to various fields, including technology, science, and the arts.

Zionism is a story of indigenous people reclaiming their land, revitalizing their culture, and building a prosperous future for generations to come. It is a testament to the power of resilience, unity, and perseverance in the face of adversity and persecution .

Zionism

No group of people all over the world has ever sought, looked for, stood for, and died for their own independence on their own land more than the Jews and their nation of Israel. In their traditional records and Torah accounts while in Egyptian bondage, they sought Zionism. During the days of the Judges, they looked for Zionism. When the Assyrians came with their chariots and plunder, Zionism was on their lips. Even when Nebuchadnezzar exiled them to Babylon, the Jews cried Zionism .

When the Nation of Israel fought the Babylon occupation the Babylon King responded by destroying our holy Temple, forcing the king of Judah to watch his own sons put to death and forced the Jews into exile . In 586 BC the Babylonians led almost all that remained the tribe of Judah of the Israelites to exile in Babylon.

The Israelites expressed their pain and agony of the exile in the book of psalm 137:

By the rivers of Babylon,
There we sat down and wept,
When we remembered Zion.
upon the willows in the midst of it
We hung our harps.
for there our captors demanded of us songs,
And our tormentors mirth, saying,
Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
How can we sing the LORD’S song
In a foreign land?
If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
May my right hand forget her skill.

Were these weeping Jews, singing songs about Zion and seeking to come back to their homeland after the brutal occupation of Babylon and forced exiled, Zionists? Absolutely !

Can the Arab Palestinians wipe out a 3000-year-old religious anthem tying them to the land of Israel, belted out by generation after generation in a language native to the land of Israel ? Let the musical archaeology begin!

Zionism

Zionism champions the values of indigenous rights, self-sufficiency, anti-colonialism, anti-oppression, human freedom, strength, resilience, spiritual and national renewal, as well as the unwavering will to endure and flourish despite centuries of adversity.

Zionism is Antithetical to Arab Imperialism

Zionism and Arab imperialism stand as starkly contrasting ideologies with opposing visions and historical implications in the Middle East.

Zionism, at its core, advocates for the re-establishment of the Jewish nation state in Israel, reflecting a quest for self-determination and sovereignty in a land considered sacred and ancestral by the Jewish people. In contrast, Arab imperialism historically involved the expansion of Arab territories through conquest and colonization, often at the expense of indigenous populations and their autonomy.

The clash between Zionism and Arab imperialism encapsulates a fundamental divergence in perspectives on identity, land rights, and political aspirations. While Zionism seeks to secure the national home of the Jewish people, Arab imperialism has historically aimed at expanding Arab influence and control over territories.

This ideological opposition has been a central theme in the complex geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, fueling tensions and conflicts that have shaped the region’s history. Understanding the antithetical nature of Zionism and Arab imperialism provides valuable insights into the historical dynamics and contemporary challenges faced in the quest for peace and reconciliation in the Middle East.

ANTI-ZIONISM

So long as A person fixating against Zionism does not apply the same standard worldwide and condemn every other ethnic groups self determination movement but is picking on only the Jewish state of Israel. Then he is expressing antisemitism hence such stance is antisemitic. It therefore means that anti Zionism is an expression of antisemitism.

Israel is the very embodiment of Jewish continuity: It is the only nation on earth that inhabits the same land, bears and worships the same God that it did 3,000 years ago. You dig the soil and you find pottery from Davidic times, coins from Bar Kokhba, and 2,000-year-old scrolls written in a script remarkably like the one that today advertises ice cream at the corner candy store. same name, speaks the same language
